Saturday was a night we we always remember as owner/breeders. Our two third generation home bred fillies won the GROUP 1 VICBRED Super Series finals for 2YO & 3YO fillies.
KAHULA, winner of the 2YO, is the first foal of KUALOA who won the same race in 2018 and went on to win the 3YO the following year. She in turn was out of one of our imported foundation mares HAWIIAN HOTTIE USA who not only produced KUALOA, $323,940, but also MAKOA, $210,747 and JEMSTONE, $128,765.
BETTOR BEACH, winner of the 3YO final is out of BEACH GARDEN who scored 11 wins and 31 places from 74 starts, and is also the dam of emerging superstar KEAYANG RENEGADE. BEACH GARDEN is out of another one of our imported foundation mares GARDEN GATE TINE CA, who in turn has produced 8 winners from 9 starters, including MAJOR MAJOR, 1:48.4, $237,771.
