We are over the moon with the confirmation that our super filly BETTOR BEACH will run in the EUREKA on November 21.
Mick Harvey selected her for his HARNESSLINK slot, after analyzing the lead up performances of her and several other outstanding options available to him.
BETTOR BEACH will make history, being the first 3YO filly ever to start in the race. Automatically drawing barrier one, provides another string to her bow.
Her lead up races were most impressive, winning the VICBRED Super Series final by 13 meters in 1:54.5, surviving a 25.6 third quarter challenge and running away in the straight in the VIC Oaks semi, and comfortably winning the Oaks final with 26.7 and 26.5 closing quarters, setting a new race record.
We are unsure where the top is for this filly, and there is no doubt that she will have her toughest test in the Eureka, but she certainly deserves to have a crack, and regardless of the outcome, will fly the flag high for HARNESSLINK and
